Have you been considering relocating? Looking to improve your quality of life, maybe through warmer weather, or more culture, or access to quality health care, and exceptional food and wine? Have you ever dreamed of owning a Lowcountry coastal home? If you're like many, you likely have, but you’re also concerned about making a wise investment. And Michelle knows the perfect place.
Charleston Is The Place To Be
Contrary to what’s going on in much of the country, the Charleston Real Estate market has proven to be resilient and strong, especially in desirable coastal communities like Seabrook Island, Kiawah, Isle Of Palms, Daniel Island, and other beachfront locales. In the past couple of years, more and more families and individuals are choosing to move to private, master-planned Lowcountry communities. Here’s why.
Quality of Life
Recession-resistant oceanfront communities
High-performing home values throughout Charleston
Strong Charleston economy
Ideal climate: year-round weather
Lower taxes plus tax breaks for seniors

Q&A with Tammy Smith
Tammy and her husband Mark relocated to Charleston in 2021, coming all the way from New Jersey. They chose Michelle to be their realtor and discovered firsthand how she goes the extra miles for her clients.
Q: Tammy, what was it like working with Michelle?
A: “She made it easy. Michelle was dialed in for the entire process: from selecting the perfect property [in Seabrook Island] to helping us with every detail along the way, no matter how large or small. She literally grabbed the reins and took control of the entire process for us. She made it easy—dealing with appraisals, home inspections, insurance, even helping us put the home in a rental program for the first year. I can’t recommend her strongly enough.”
Q: Coming from New Jersey must be daunting—that’s a long way. What was Michelle’s role and how did she help you make the process work smoothly?
A:“Michelle and her husband, Anthony, are both from up north, as well, so they have already made the move. They learned all about relocating to Charleston from their own experience. For that reason, Michelle and Anthony [a custom home builder in Charleston] were a tremendous resource. They knew what was important and what to prioritize. They also helped us expedite the process seamlessly, helping us with the appraisal, the home inspection, getting the best value on insurance, and helping us find an attorney, and on and on. She was so responsive and helpful that it seemed effortless.”
Q:Would you recommend Michelle to anyone considering a move to Charleston?
A:“100%! She is a total professional and so pro-active. She goes above and beyond what traditional realtors do—I know, because I’m in the remodeling market in new Jersey, and I know a lot of brokers and see how they work. Michelle is different because she actually wants to help and will do whatever it takes to make the move easy for her clients. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to make that move.”
